Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully. By accessing or using JustLikeFamilyHomeHealthCare.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. ABOUT JUST LIKE FAMILY HOME HEALTH CARE

Just Like Family Home Health Care (“Just Like Family,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a locally owned Minnesota home care provider licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health as a Basic Home Care Provider in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Chapter 144A.

We provide direct, non-medical home care services to individuals who wish to remain in their homes. We are not a referral service, broker, directory, or marketplace, and we do not place clients with third-party care providers.

2. PURPOSE OF THE SITE

This Site is intended to:

  • Provide general information about our services

  • Allow families and individuals to request information or contact us

  • Support employment inquiries

Content on this Site is informational only and does not replace individualized care assessments, service agreements, or professional advice.

3. MINNESOTA HOME CARE CLIENT RIGHTS

Clients who receive services from Just Like Family are entitled to all protections under the Minnesota Home Care Bill of Rights, including dignity, privacy, informed consent, and participation in care planning.

Prior to or at the start of services, clients will receive:

  • A written Statement of Home Care Services

  • Required disclosures and policies

  • A service agreement consistent with Minnesota law

4. SCOPE OF BASIC HOME CARE SERVICES

Just Like Family provides services within the scope of its Basic Home Care license, which may include:

  • Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Personal care and hygiene assistance

  • Mobility and transfer support

  • Companionship and supervision

  • Light household support related to client care

We do not provide medical treatment, nursing services, or clinical care unless specifically permitted by law and agreed to in writing.

5. NO MEDICAL, LEGAL, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

Information provided on this Site is for general educational purposes only and is not medical, legal, or financial advice.

Home care services are provided only after appropriate intake, assessment, and care planning in compliance with Minnesota regulations.

6. CAREGIVER QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

All caregivers employed or contracted by Just Like Family:

  • Meet Minnesota background study requirements

  • Receive required orientation and training for Basic Home Care

  • Are supervised according to state regulations

7. PRIVACY & CONSENT TO COMMUNICATIONS

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By submitting information through the Site, you consent to being contacted by Just Like Family Home Health Care regarding:

  • Care inquiries

  • Employment opportunities

  • Service-related communications

Text messaging is optional and governed by the SMS terms described in our Privacy Policy. Message and data rates may apply.

8. HIPAA NOTICE

This Site and these Terms do not govern the use of Protected Health Information (PHI) related to active clients.

Our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices applies to PHI collected during the provision of home care services and is available upon request.

9. WEBSITE USE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use this Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

  • Reproduce or distribute Site content without permission

  • Use the Site for unlawful or misleading purposes

  • Attempt to interfere with Site security or functionality

All Site content is owned by or licensed to Just Like Family Home Health Care.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Site may include links to third-party websites for convenience or informational purposes. We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. DISCLAIMER

This Site is provided on an “as-is” basis. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties regarding completeness, reliability, or availability of Site content.

Use of the Site is at your own risk.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, Just Like Family Home Health Care shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time for misuse or violation of these Terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
